Lemons are one of the few things refugees carry with them
on their journey to safety, to aid seasickness. A campaign for Amnesty International aiming to encourage the public to welcome more refugees into the UK. 200 lemons were given out as a symbol of safe passage, each in exchange for a signature. The lemon became a lasting symbol of safe passage, reminding London commuters of those embarking on a different journey.
